The solutions to climate change involve governments, international organizations, the general public – and private capital.

Climate Change Capital is motivated by an ambition to channel significant amounts of capital into the solutions to climate change, while shaping the investment and policy environments, so that the public good can be aligned with the private good of maximising returns to stakeholders.

Climate Change Capital has established itself as a specialised investment banking group focused on the advisory and investment opportunities created by the transition towards the low carbon economy. CCC is actively managing a wide variety of assets across the globe including energy efficiency in steel and cement installations, renewables, coal mine methane utilization, land fill gas and gas distribution. We are looking to invest in clean technology businesses in Europe, create clean commercial buildings in the U.K and develop and manage further funds.

Our vision has created a particular working culture, made up of a dedicated commitment of its staff to climate change issues, a blending of skills from the financial and the policy worlds, a spirit of collective entrepreneurialism and a shared desire to make a difference.

The Mural:  'Creating Wealth Worth Having®'

We commissioned the US artist Alex Echo to create a mural  which reflects CCC's philosophy and ethos of Creating Wealth Worth Having®.

The multicoloured 18ft wide collage displayed in the reception of CCC's London headquarters comprises 72 individually hand painted panels. Each panel uses a variety of coloured acrylics, cryptic messages and Chinese characters to represent the values, achievements and the vision of Climate Change Capital.

These messages speak of building an economy that works with the natural systems of the earth and of delivering a public good in reducing emissions around the world. It includes Nick Cave's quote "that in the end it is beauty that is going to save the world." But it also speaks of the practical side of the business - about how economic insight plays an important role, as does confidence.

Alex Echo's work is most notable for his vivid use of colours and cryptic collages and his belief that everything is art: from his design of Swatch watches to his hand painted 2,000 feet 'Absolut Echo' billboard. Throughout his career Alex has used his talent for the benefit of others, raising well over $300,000 for health and children's charities from the direct sale of his artwork.
